I Love My Friends!

This might not sound like a hobby but for some reason it is? Today I will be explaining why my favourite hobby to do is hanging out with my ‘Friends’.

They make me laugh! I love hanging out with my friends especially if I’m feeling sad. No matter how depressed I am, they always find some way to make me laugh. E.G I’m crying so hard because something bad happens….. They would cheer me up and start making me laugh by mocking themselves.

Sticking Up For One Another…… That’s something that all my friends do (well the majority of them). Whenever someone tries and puts us down, we stick up for that person and roast them. Roasting someone isn’t the best idea but we find a way to make everyone happy!

Themselves? To me I feel like I have the bestest friends in the world, they mean everything to me. Just them being themselves makes my day even brighter. My friends aren’t mean people and they’ll always find a way to make things right!

These are all of my reasons on why Friends is my favourite (and best) hobby. You might not agree with me because sometimes friends can get a little irritating but I seem to handle them somehow? Having friends is the best achievement I have ever gotten, so make sure you tell your friends that you appreciate them for being your friend!

War Is Hard!

Thinking what all the war that has put as in, I can't put it aside. All the fighting, the anger, the sadness that has been put against us. The tanks that fire at bases, the ships that glide within the water, waking up every night hearing banging that makes me feel sick. We can't just sit and watch this battle happen. I grasped 1 day because I saw a thing that burned my eyes, it was my father. He was literally burned and it stung my eyes seeing it.

Task Description - 

Today we did a quick write about war and we couldn't use the letter 'O'. It was pretty hard but I managed to do one paragraph without messing up!

Why I love Rainbows End!

Why do people like Rainbows End? What’s so important about it? Well, today I will be telling you the reasons why I love to go to Rainbows End!

Kidz Kingdom! I know, I’m too old to go into Kidz Kingdom but their rides are really fun and safe. Their rides aren’t that high and fast but there slow and short (perfect for me!). Sometimes I don’t want to go on the big rides just in case something bad happens.

The Rollercoaster….. I ADORE the Rollercoaster. Why? Well, that’s because I love when we go in a loop and especially when we go upside down. Yes, I did say that I didn’t really like big rides but when I go upside down I like to wave my arms around because I feel ‘Free’.

FOOD OH FOOD! If you don’t know this about, I ‘LOVE’ food more than anyone in the world (not actually). The food at Rainbows End is….. DELICIOUS meaning - Fattening or Sweetening! I always but food whenever I go to Rainbows End!

Well, this is the end of my reasons in why I love Rainbows End! Maybe one day in your free time you should go to Rainbows End and take all the time you want because I guarantee you’ll enjoy it!

Polyfest Trip!

Skipping, Dancing, Running, Laughing….. Sounds interesting right? These words describe what we did at Polyfest (Well we didn’t exactly do laughing, but let’s just say we had an incredible time!). On Wednesday the 13th of March, Team 5 went to Polyfest to watch some items dance but what we really did was play games. The first activity that we played was this skipping game. We had to get a partner and try and skip with one skipping rope at the same time. After that we had a competition where we had to pick one partner to skip for the longest and it was INTENSE!  The last ones skipping was Me and Daliz and we were skipping for ages….. It felt like an hour! Unfortunately I didn’t win because I got way to tired so I stopped and Daliz won. The worst thing about it was that I jumped for like an hour just to get NOTHING! I enjoyed the activities but I didn’t like how we didn’t get to watch anything, I kinda got hyped at Polyfest though? My group (Santana, Rosaleen, Christina, Petesa and Daliz) and I went walking around buying some stuff and getting free stuff. I bought this ice cream & watermelon thing that was $7 even though we had to only spend $5. Polyfest was really fun and exciting even though we didn’t actually get to watch any dances but at least I did get to watch a  Tongan speech. My favourite was the dance thing that the two girls taught us! If you ever get to go to Polyfest you should go because its so cool and fun!

Who Am I? What I Want To Be?

WALT - My Shield About Who I Am And What I Want To Be?

Task Description - 

Kia Ora, My name is Trendy and this picture that you see right here is my shield that tells you who I am and what I want to be? The 4 corners of the shield is - Interests, Skills, Values and Qualities. My Interests are Music, helping others, eating, playing piano, playing softball and drawing - My Skills are cleaning, drawing, maths and breaking things - My Values are family, culture, friends, making others happy and helping others - Last of all My Qualities are loving, generous, thoughtful, appreciative, respectful, crazy sometimes, weird and always HAPPPY! 

What I want to be when I grow up is either a Doctor or a Photographer because I love to help people and i've always wanted to be a Photographer. How much money does a doctor and photographer get paid? Doctor gets paid $198.000 or $289.000 and a photographer gets paid $30.00.

My support crew? Meaning people who help me and support me with my learning and life. The people that I chose was my mum, Mrs Tele'a, Naomi, William & Josh, Santana, My Father and everyone who surrounds me. I hope this isn't to much writing for you to read but this is who I am and what I want to be!

What Are My Favourite Things To Do At PES!

Sleeping, Non-learning…… These are my favourite things to do at school (well I wish I could do those things) but unfortunately that’s not aloud at school, so I will be telling you some things that i’ve enjoyed throughout my years at Pt England School!

Year 6 camp! In 2017 all the year 6’s (well most of them) went to Kawau Island for the whole week. It was awesome and everytime I think about it, I just wanna go back. The reason why I loved Kawau Island was because we got to do a lot of fun activities like Abseiling, Kayaking, Sailing,  Mr Jacobson’s Obstacle course and some sports. If you ever get to go to Kawau you will love it except for the ‘Killer Hill!’.

Tech - COOKING! I love to go to Tech (Tamaki College for Year 7&8’s) only if it’s cooking. Why? Well because I get to cook and once i’ve finished cooking it…. I get to EAT IT! And OHHH it tastes delicious. E.G Most of the times we just make pasta but when we get lucky we get to make CUPCAKES or PANCAKES!!!

Sports tournaments! At school we get the opportunity to play sports for our school, we get to go somewhere and verse other schools. I’m not a sporty person but I do like to play some sports for the school like Softball, Netball etc. We just played softball not long ago for mix and girls and we all won, now we’re waiting for Auckland Champs!

Here’s 3 things I love to do at Pt England school. Coming to this school was no regret for me, I made so much funny and nice friends and they give you so many opportunities to do fun things. I hope you wished that you came to PES because this is the bestest school ever!

How To Be A Good Role Model/Leader!

Leadership, Courage, Yourself…. These are the key things that I believe that make you a good role model. If you keep reading this and I guarantee you’ll become a great role model

Looking behind the person…. A good role model always has people following them. A speech that our principal said to us is “Look behind the person who is walking and if no ones behind him/her then him/her is not a leader!”.

Be Courageous, Be like a lion and take your rightful place. Be the king and lead your people to the place they belong. Being a leader/role model takes courage and strength, you need to be strong for the people around you, you need to be that one person who takes responsibility and looks after everyone.

Kindness/Generosity! If I were to become a role model, the one thing I would concentrate on is being kind and caring for my whanau who surrounds me. Being kind to people can make your life change into something new, something better! Things you can do to be nice is helping them with their work, giving them things that they might not have or you could just give them space. Some people need space because they have hard times with their life.

Being yourself. This might not seem like the greatest idea but if you think about it, being yourself is the most important thing to being a good role model. Explaining being yourself is kind of weird because you should know how to be yourself so all I can say is…. Be Yourself!

Demonstration is good for little kids. Explaining things to kids can be complicated so demonstrating it’s easier than explaining to little kids. An example - you could be explaining something to kids but they’ll just look at you confused, if you demonstrate it they’ll understand easier.

You could do many things to become a good role model or leader. Sometimes you don’t actually have to do all these things to be greatest leader, you could be the quiet one but everyone follows everything you do!
