Cultures Poster!

Task Description -

Mrs Stone told us the make a poster that has any type of graph to show how many people are 'this' culture. Mine isn't that complicated but it is very simple because I wanted people to understand what i'm doing.

Friendship Factors - Attitude Talks!

Today a girl named Jannah (Gracious Gift) came and talked to us about girl friendships, guy friendships and even guy-girl friendships. The name Jannah means 'Gracious Gift' so if you forget her actually name just say Gracious Gift.

One of the things she told us was 'How Not To Make Friends!'. Ways on getting your friends to dislike you - Backstabbing, Smothering, Showing off etc. When she told us about this it made me think a lot on how to tell if my friends really care about me or not, but of course, my friends are the best so they would never hate me (well at least I think).

'How To Make Friends?'. One I kinda related to was 'No one else feels shy'. It sounds a bit mean but the meaning of it is to never feel shy, you might be the shyest person ever but I know that you still have a confidence person waiting to come out of that shell.  When I was younger I was so afraid of everyone because I didn't talk as much, now that I have grown up I'm more confident around friends, family and strangers (STRANGER DANGER!).

I think my favourite saying out of the whole Attitude Talks was - Be Yourself! Ever since I was little I've always tried to impress people by trying to act tough or trying to show off and sometimes I would think I was cool. I'm 12 now and I've learnt to never judge yourself the wrong way and always think positive of yourself. Never take the negative from people but make that negative and turn it into a positive.

Uni-Shark

A shark on a rainbow?  Wow, that sounds really weird but somehow I found a picture that has a shark on a rainbow. Not only that, the shark has a unicorn horn on its head. I know this may sound unbelievable but I'm serious! Oh, I forgot, there's also little marshmallow people riding on the shark. I can't be bothered to say shark so I'm gonna say Uni-Shark! No offence to this Uni-shark but it looks disable, like no kidding, I'm not trying to be mean I'm just trying to be honest. All I can say about this picture is....

Task Description - 

This week my group had to read this story about a boy who judged his grandmother a bit to much. He thought that she was being really strict but she's just trying to care for him. I hope you enjoy what I wrote and thought about this reading!

Time For VACATION!

Trendy Here! You should know that I’ve been on a plane every single year and that’s all thanks to my mum and Step-dad. Just so you know their not rich they just use their money wisely, but today I will be telling you why I love to travel.

Whenever I travel I always get to learn something new, either because of the new language and culture or just because of my mum. Learning something new while traveling helps me getting a better education for myself. E.G I can learn and have fun at the same time.

Getting to know the world. I always find something new about other countries that no one would ever think of? Like how hot it is in Bali and others but not only that you get to buy random stuff you’ve never seen before.

Relaxation… I don’t always go on vacation and learn but I do relax in my own time. The one thing I love to do when I’m on vacation is swimming in the clear, polishing water. It’s so relaxing and smooth, sometimes it feels like your floating but in water.

That’s all of the reasons that I could think of but I’m sure I have more to tell. I hope you like my 3 reasons why I love Vacation and maybe one day you’ll get to travel the world and see new things you wouldn’t ever think of. Take my advice, don’t ever judge people on how they talk or dress because they just supporting their culture.

The Wonder???

Walking along the shore I see the clear, polishing water reflect on me. I looked into the water and saw myself...Then  I looked at the sky and questioned myself 'Will I ever get to travel one day?'. My name is Trendy and I've always wanted to travel the Pacific Ocean. Sometimes I wonder what's inside the sea, what type of animals live beneath the ocean?

Task Description - 

We did another quick write today and this time we weren't allowed to use the letter 'U'. At first it wasn't that hard but then I got so into the story that I was about to use a LOT of 'U's. Maybe you should do a similar challenge like this. If you enjoy reading these make sure to keep going on my blog because I might be posting these a lot for a while!

Sports, Sports..... And More Sports!

Hi, I’m Trendy and If you already know me then you know I’m not a fit person but I do like sports. Since your still reading this I’ll be telling you what sports I like and Why? I like them!

Softball for DAYS!!!!! I love softball so much it’s my favourite sport. I think the reason why I like it because there’s not that much running. I also like it because I love to bat and catch. E.G I especially like batting when it’s a fast pitcher because when I hit it…. It goes far!

Rippa Rugby. Surprise, Surprise, I use to play Rippa for Marist. I only like Rippa because I love (LIKE LOVE!!) Ripping the tags. I have to admit I’m not that good at playing Rippa Rugby but at least I was the best at ripping tags so the reward for that was a bar of BIG chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn’t get it though.

Sports With My Friends. I don’t really like sports but I love playing sports with my friends. Playing with strangers and playing with friends is different because I feel more confident when I know someone in my team. When I play in a team and I know absolutely no one….. Then I get terrified.

These reasons aren’t really good but it’s good enough for me. People may not be fit but they can surprise you sometimes, they could be way better than you. All I’m saying is that to never judge people by their size or on how they look because you could be embarrassed one day.
