Have you ever done a cup competition before? Well I haven't but some of my friends did. Today we had to get into groups of four and in my group was Santana, Monika and Christina. The fastest cup staker in my group was Santana so we all picked her to compete against Jayden, Chastyti and Adrienne. The competition was intense and everyone was quiet. First the people that were chosen for the competition, they started all together and then they went one by one. The winner was...... Chastyti, Chastyti's time was 9 seconds but after that Taraia was just mucking around and Mrs Tele'a was timing him and he beat Chastyti. Taraia's time was 8 seconds. This is how the cup staking challenge turned out.

 

Beyonce Bert

As I was walking into the hall for the Immersion Assembly, I saw Beyonce!!! I was so excited to met Beyonce for the first time but when Beyonce turned around I was in a lot of shock. Beyonce turned out to be Mr Burt.

My favourite team that did their thing for the Immersion Assembly was Team 5. I liked team 5’s one was because they were doing ‘Tai Chi’. Now if you have no idea what Tai Chi is, Tai Chi is a type of martial arts that most people do near China. The funniest part about it was Mr Wiseman, the reason why was because while he was doing the actions he thought that he was a TIGER!!!!

I would like to say a big thank you to all teachers that took their time off during the school holidays to make their movie for the immersion assembly. Taking your time off during the school holidays is a very hard thing to do because you don’t really get time to relax or have some quality time with your family. Thank you teachers for doing this for us students.

What Have I Been Doing Lately????

Its the School Holidays and its been pretty boring. All I've been doing is cleaning up and watching my cousin's games. My cousin's name is Naomi and she plays for the East Auckland Storms. She's won her first game against Central and today she is going against West Storms, but unfortunately i couldn't go to support her so i have to wait until she comes back to here if she lost or won, but i'm really hoping that she wins so good luck to her. Well that's pretty much what I've been doing for the school holidays but i hope we get to do something fun next week.

It's very sad that your leaving us because i have had so much fun throughout these two terms with you and i really wish that you could stay just a little bit longer. I would like to say some stuff about you before you leave. You are one of the most funniest, best singer, nicest and most loving teacher that we all know. One of the most things that stands out about you is your singing, your singing is magnificent. Its like angels from the sky singing to everyone below them. You have a voice like an angel. I would like to say thank you for being one of our teachers for Team 5 and we all hope that you can come back one day and teach or just visit. From all of team 5 students and teachers we will miss you and love you always, God Bless You and have a good trip to Dubai.

My Highlight About Term 2!

This term has been amazing but its very sad that Mrs Sio has gone now, she will be coming back but she will be going to Team 4 in Room 6. I think my highlight for this term was TEAM BUILDING!!! I liked wait...... I LOVED team building because all the year 8's were gone and also we got to make Slime, Play games, Cook piklets, made our own banner, we got to make air planes and we got to play Minute to win it. What's even more better is that we have Mrs Tele'a now and she's really fun. I hope you enjoyed my opinion about what i liked most about this term.

A little girl named Zoe was starving for a burger (ROAR ROAR) that was the sound of her tummy. “I'm hungry get off your butt and get a burger can’t you hear me i'm starving” Zoe's tummy said. She was so shocked with fear. “Well hurry up this tummy can’t feed itself” So she quickly got off the couch, grabbed some money from the kitchen and ran outside the the “Delicious Burger Van” well that's what it said on the van. Zoe quickly ran to the van and order a cheeseburger. He gave her a burger and Zoe went home she was just about to eat the but then….. There was a RAT IN THE BURGER. “AHHHH THERE'S A RAT IN MY BURGER……..

Recount About Team Building With The Year 7's

On Week 4, Wednesday, Term 2, the year eights left to go to their year eight camp so while they were gone the year sevens were doing some team building, but in my opinion i thought we were just having fun. There were 6 groups called Green Dox, Blue Dogs, Red Rebels, Orange Justice, Purple Panthers and last of all Yellow Churry. On the first day there were 3 rotations which was Making Fluffy Slime with Mrs Salu in room 5, Cooking little pancakes with Mrs Sio in room 3 and Whare Kelly doing chair tiggy in the street. The first thing that we all did was decorating our banner. For my team it was very frustrating because no one really listened, but at the end it turned out really fun.

Well my opinion is that I disagree, Why? Because the school needs the money to give to other people out there that need Health Medication. The reason why I chose this opinion because it’s true. The school does give money to the people that are in a lot of pain. E.G if the teachers kept giving us students money we would spend it on less important things and also the people that are in pain will have to suffer for a long time. So I disagree about getting paid.

This week Mrs Sio has gone to Samoa for a holiday but unfortunately she won't be coming back to Team 5, but instead she will be in Room 6 with Team 4. Since Mrs Sio has gone we now have the Team Leader BACK and if you don't know who that is its......... Mrs Tele'a. She has came back from looking after her little girl Noelle, but she's not the team leader but instead Mr Wiseman will be the Team leader. Also Mrs Tele'a will be back in her old class in room 3 and teaching us. It's her 2nd day and it has been amazing spending time with her, she's a lovely and fun teacher if you get to know her more. She might be strict sometimes but she's actually a really nice and hard worker teacher and if you ever get to have her please do respect her and give her all the love and kindness to her. That is what has changed about this week so i hope everyone respects and listens to Mrs Tele'a like we did to Mrs Sio. I love being one of Mrs Tele'a students and i wish i could have her for my whole life.

Dear Mrs Tele’a,

My name is Trendy and I am 11 years old also a year 7. My cultures are Samoan and Maori. You already know my family but i’ll still tell you anyways, my mum’s name is Paulina, my sister’s name is Stylez and my lazy brothers name is Charm. I am the youngest child in the family and my father wasn’t really there for me after i turned six but you should get what i mean. I was born up north, in Kaitaia.

I don’t really play sports but last year i played Softball and Netball. I also enjoy a sport that i made up and it’s called eating. I know that eating isn’t a sport but it should be. I also enjoy helping people with something that they need help with around the whole school.

If had to choose out of all the subjects in this school, mine would be maths. I love maths because i love using numbers and calculating stuff. I don’t really like doing maths in front of people but i like doing it in my own time because i have space to concentrate on the maths problem. I love cleaning at school but i don’t really like cleaning at home. I think my goal for this year is to be nice to everyone and make sure that nothing bad happens around this school.
