Today is Friday and we had our school assembly. This week is Tongan language week if you didn't know that, the Tongan group performed for our whole school and there were amazing. Some people kind of mucked up but they all still kept smiling and kept going with the moves. Firstly some Tongan girls and boys said speeches in Tongan and they started playing a song and the girls started dancing. Their dancing was beautiful, their hand movements was smooth and gentle.
After the girls had finished their dance, the boys got on the stage and did their performance. Tevita was the leader for the Tongan boys and he lead the boys as Faioso and Kosini did the drums. The Tongan groups performance was amazing and i'm hoping to see more next year. Hear is some photos from the assembly!
