Malaga/Career Talk!

Today 3 amazing people came to Pt England to talk to us about careers. They talked about who they were and how they became who they are right now, they also said what they went through before they became who/what they are now. Their names were Jason Young (A good friend of Ray Tele’ a = Mr Tele’ a), Fiona Bakulich (Mrs Tele’ a’s sister) and Tanielu Tele’ a (Mrs Tele’ a’s son and the BEST BLUES PLAYER!).

Jason Young! What Jason does is building - he’s a builder. He’s apart of the ‘Big Buddy - Fatherless Boys’ thing. I’m not quite sure what it is but all I know is that he’s apart of it because he grew up with a solo parent which was his mother. He didn’t always want to be a builder but he also did want to be a journalist.

Fiona Bakulich! You may know her from the programme ‘Casketeers’. The job that she does is a ‘Funeral Director’. Meaning she cleans the bodies of loved ones and she organises the funerals for other families. It can be a pretty hard job for emotional people because you have to see the faces of people crying and you have to comfort them. As I told you Fiona is Mrs Tele’ a’s sister but she is younger than her. She is only younger by 1 year, 1 month and 11 days.

Last of all Tanielu Tele’ a! Most of you Pt Englanders know Tanielu because of Mrs Tele’ a but now that he’s apart of the Blues Auckland team. As you know he is a rugby player for the blues team, he also got the 1000th try. His role models were Sonny Bill, His Papa and I can’t remember the other one but he always looked up to them. He thanked all of his…. Well, actually some because he forgot 2 people but he thanked his Pt England friends for being there for him all the way.

This talk was very inspirational for me and the other year 7 & 8’s. I really hope each and one of us takes a little piece of this information and put it into our lives to help us achieve our dreams. I hope this writing can also inspire you as well! And make sure….
